like the title says. is an mp10 enough flow for a 60 cube?? i have a
quiet one6000 pump as return with a 2 k evos one 750 and 1050 but looking to replace them with the mp10. or will i have to add 2 of them
thanks

I would say 2. Depends on what your keeping also. FWIW i had a MP40 on my 30 cube sps reef. ?

you do not need an mp 40 in a 60g cube. thats too much flow, you'll have youre sand bed all over the place or youll have the pump turned down to where its barely an improvement over the mp10= total waste. the best would be 2xmp10 but 1 mp 10 and another pump like a tunze stream or a koralin 3 would work also.

I have a mp10 with a tunze 6045 and it work well. SPS and LPS are good but it makes a difference how you arrange your rocks. Its not like a standard rectangle tank...play around with it and find that motion you like.

Yeah one mp10 with an additional constant flow powerhead would be enough. In my 50 gallon I have one of the new Maxijet 1200 with the power nozzle thingy and an mp10 on
quick pulse and its a perfect amount of flow.

I had to add a second to my 50 custom. one was not cutting it. Had a few issues with one. First being I felt I had to dial it to high to get close to the movement I was looking for in the DT. Problem doing that was the undertow was disturbing the sand bed. Also having dailing the pump that high it was a little noisy and any corals sitting right in front of it would be blasted. Added the second pump and it is perfect now.

I know it's pricey, but 2 MP10WES are unblievable in a tank that size, in sync and antisync modes the flow and water movement are incredible.

I had two mp10s on my 60 cube full of sps. It was not enough flow for me. I went overboard with two mp40s on the back wall. Incredible flow I have a deep sand bed they are set at half speed.

I have a MP40 on a 40b and have it turned all the way up. I don't think it would be enough flow...

If you're keeping SPS, i would go with an MP40. I have an mp10 on my 45 cube, which is almost the same dimensions just shorter and my mp10 doesn't seem like enough flow for my SPS. It's perfect for LPS though.

Had an MP10 on a 28g Nano, great for that size tank

I moved to a 50g and replaced the mp10 with 2 mp40 to get good flow for sps.

I have an mp10 on 60 gallon

36 x 21 x 18

Seems like perfect flow

Mixed reef

Soft, lps and sps

Everything does well

I guess if your doing sps only

Two mp10's are good

Kind of a late reply, but I would say it depends on your aquascape and the corals you want to keep. I had a MP-20 and wish I would have bought a MP-40. You can always turn the flow down.
