MP10 forgets to sleep

Every time I have a power outage, no matter how brief, my MP10 forgets all about sleep mode. Flow mode and intensity are preserved, but I have to manually reprogram sleep mode. Is there a setting I'm missing, or do I need to shell out >$100 for a battery backup just to preserve my sleep mode setting?

That's correct if your pump is to loose power, you will need to reprogram your nightmode settings.

Will Vortech pumps also forget master/slave relationships if power is lost?

No, the only information lost in the event of a power outage is nightmode.

Does the same thing apply if you hit the power button?
Im on my 2nd QD drivee since it wont remember to go into night mode and I dont lose power other than pressing power button
