Mp10 vs GBTA

@.@ tank has been stable for over 6months, all my sps is doing well. My 2 osc. clowns decided they would like to invite them self's into my small 1 head frag of frog spawn and almost rubbed him to death : \ . So i finally decided on picking up a real home for them! After introducing the nem he moved around and found a spot that he stayed at for the rest of the day, opened up his bubbles and all. Then at night he found the Mp10 : ( but i had the cover it came with on thank god, but part of his tentacles and body got slurped into a small exposed part. Some of his tentacles seemed a bit thrashed, from what i saw the foot was all right, there was a small white spot that looked like a bruise? I let him clime out on his own power. Today his undamaged tentacles are puffed up like normal and hes firmly attached to the live rock. When i got him from the pet store it already looked like he might be trying to divide? the top part wasn't round(looked like a circle with a half circle pinching off?) and looked like he almost had 2 feet?

What is the survival rate from this type of thing? should i feed him or just let him be? should i remove him. From what i have searched my tank might be filled with his stinging cells? but all my fish and corals look ok, i have made new salt water yesterday night but had to add some more salt so cant use it till tomorrow.

blah i was having fun all day watching him and moving corals lol, so beautiful and captivating :S

Your nem should be fine. One of mine recovered from this:

It was wrapped around the intake grill on the J tube for a Fluval. After I unwrapped it, it looked like this:

and this when it re-inflated:

I'd wait a couple of days before trying to feed it, just to give it a chance to heal any damage that might have occurred around the mouth.

As far as the stinging cells go, I've lost a large part of the fish in my tank to one such episode - if the fish aren't already acting strange (heavy breathing, laying on the substrate), you probably don't have anything to worry about.

Oh wow how is your guy doing, yarg i just feel like the 1st thing im gonna do when ever i look at the tank is check the power head :S BTAs are tougher then i thought, that pic makes mine feel like just a Boo Boo :( light at the end of the tunnel fuzzy feeling reactivated.

It fully recovered. Have no idea which one it is anymore.

Mine already seems like normal, even the damaged tent's just look a bit shorter but puffy and hes staying putt. His new home thought seems like my clowns will never find him lol hangin upside down under a ledge where he can poke him self out just enough to get to the light
