MP10 wireless or not?

I have a 30 gallon mix reef, and ready to purchase the mp10 with a backup battery pack. I don't have a apex controller, and was wondering if the mp10 wireless is necessary?

If you're just running the one pump, no need for wireless. You could add it down the road later if you want it. You can order the part from ecotech.

Thanks, I just ordered the non wireless for now. Saved me $50, even though it isn't much but it's a save.
