MP10QD Issues?

Is anyone else having an issue with their MP10QD? My night mode does not work and the modes lock up sporadically. Ecotech said its a firmware issue and wanted me to upgrade to the reeflink to get the update. Back in May, they claimed that a fix was on the way, but would not commit to sending me a new unit.

Now, it's been radio silence since May. This is ridiculous given the price of these things...

When did you update the firmware? We are aware of an issue with Night Mode and are working to get it fixed.

Hi, can you confirm whether the night mode issue affects the MP40QD too? - mine seems to get stuck in night mode and wont come back to Reef Crest....

The known issue with nightmode affects all VorTech pumps with QuietDrive controllers.

Hi Alex, thanks for clarification - I currently don't have Reeflink (that may change) so how can a firmware update be made when you fix it?

I did not update the firmware yet. I am not aware of a way to do this without your reeflink option. I do not have reeflink, nor am interested in paying extra for it.
