Mp40 placement help on sps dominated tank

Hi all. I just re scaped my tank and converted to bb and moved the rocks in the middle of the tank.

The mp40s are located on opposite
sides on the front running at rerfcrest.

The tank is 48x22x20. Is it better to put one pump at the front and one at back of the rocks?

I have one closer to the front and one close to the back. I believe every tank is different and it's all about trial and error.

Same dimensions, same rock scaping, same mode. I also have one more toward the back and one toward the front and run the slave in async.

Had a 4' 75 with two MP 40's directly facing each other, just close enough to surface where they weren't sucking air. In my experience, the the SPS liked the randomness of the flow best in that configuration, anti sync.
