MP40W 1st Generation Firmware Question.

I am going to be purchasing a MP40W 1st Generation Vortech which I will be purchasing the 2nd generation Magnet Kit for but is it possible to update the Firmware on the Wave Driver?

Yes, you need only find someone locally with the code or send in your driver to be upgraded.

I believe there are some customers on this forum or on the Manhattan reef forum who have Gen2. I think Randy at Pratt does as well.
