Was previously running dual 40s on my 265, which proved insufficient, so I have replaced one with the MP60. The latter is far louder than the 40. For those who have experience with both, is this 'normal'. I'm a huge fan of these pumps, but in this case I'm running afoul of the WAF.

If this is a new MP60wES, I would recommend running the VorTech in constant mode at a low overall speed. Gradually increase that speed over the course of 2 weeks. This will allow your pump to break in, and operate quietly!

I would recommend calling us directly. If you are experiencing that much noise, we may need to replace your wetside or dryside under warranty!
