if you aren't going to have the exhaust above the water level, then inboard or outboard i don't think will matter.
I have mine plumbed pretty much on level with its orriginal exit with a few 90s to get around things and then a 90 pointing down into the sump. It splashes around some but i have egg crate above my sump for pipes etc to lay on so the splash hits that and just drips back in.

Just seen the reeflo needlewheele pump.
Wonder if that could be modded to fit a mrc. Ofcourse the beckett would be lost.

Anybody thinking on a wetneck for their mrc?

i have been thinking about it, but just started hearing about it so i don't know mcuh about it yet.

lithium...they have it at my HD> it is right by the plumbing stuff. on the top shelf...by the valves and such..pvc valves

Oh Yeah............great video........ send that one to the needlewheel freaks.

What pump was that Iwaki 70?

I believe he is running a iwaki 70.

Sweet im glad the video worked, i thought we where do for a video, pictures look cool but to see it in action (for the reefers that all ways ask) is a whole other ball game.
here is a little history on my skimmer
MR-2 new mag 18, then got mag 24,bought iwaki 70 RLT with 12 inch riser at the same time, ran that on a single beckett for a year & a few months ago i added 2 new becketts on the same pump.
it kicks A..

MR-2 Video
for the reefers that like to know how MR skimmers Perform

That is both beautifull and digusting at the same time:D

What is that about 2 hours after you cleaned it?

I hope you sent that to Andy......much better than the video he has on there now.

Speaking of sending things to Andy. Everyone with an established tank needs to send him their tank shots. Only Ereeific and I have so far.

thanks, Chris
