Mulleri Butterflyfish at liveaquaria!

I was just browsing for fun, and saw that liveaquaria has Mulleri Butterflyfish. They're just like copperbands, but they have a better track record of staying alive in captivity, and are pretty rare. They have an orange / rusty red color and fewer stripes than the copperband, and a longer snout.

from what i've read, safer in a reef than copperbands, and hardier.

I think Eileen has one of those, ponied up the big bucks for a net caught one. Funny thing is she was mentioning to me how they haven't touched one of her corals, then WAMMO nip nip.

Had one is more like it.

It had a liking for worms, and that's all it ate. It wouldn't touch brine, mysis, or anything else that was frozen 'cept for bloodworms.

My sps actually started going downhill when I got that fish as I did had to feed more.

After this fish was gone my millies looked so much better. They can be hit or miss and getting one to consistantly feed is difficult, but not impossible.

They are really best left in the ocean or with more experienced aquarists who can better take care of their needs.
