multicolor gigantea

Wow! Gary, you really have a knack for aquarium photography! Every time you update this thread I know my eyes are in for a treat. Wonderful photos as always!

sorry

sorry

photog lessons are beyond the scope of this thread!

FYI: I use a refurbished Canon Powershot A510. It was dropped into a saltmarsh of Cape May, NJ several years ago and I now (literally) need to flick the shutter open with my finger because it sticks shut :headwallblue:

Some day I'll get a real camera but for now you'll just have to suffer :)

This is the last time I'll touch up your makeup, but there is a lot of us that would love to suffer like that I'm pretty sure.

How about this picture to rival your clown and anemone pictures?

it's a great picture, Minh

I fancy myself more as an aquarist with some camera skills than a photographer. Not only is my camera a point and shoot but the glass on my aquarium is 1/2" thick. I don't expect to win any photography contests.

Gary,
You got some of the best close-up pictures of clowns and anemones. That picture above was taken with my mobile phone.

My yellow Gigantea anemone started to change color as I increase the light on him. He clearly show multicolors at this time that rival your anemone. I thought I will post his picture here on your thread

Looking beautiful! Although, you really spoiled us with your previous photos, the iPhone doesn't hold a candle to those!

Good that your emperor don't nip at your corals. Really love the emperor. My juvenile emperor was nipping at my haddoni constantly , took the fish out immediately . Now it is in my brother in law fish only tank.

re: what kind of camera

I use Canon power shots- the point and shoots.
All pix taken through my Perfecto 220s 1/2" thick glass
