Multicontroller 7095's Lunar Cycle

By design, the 7095's lunar cycle is sensitive to lights being turned off and on. This makes sense since it is how the controller keeps track of its lunar cycle.

My question is this, when the tank's lights are off, and the bedroom is dark, will turning on a reading light in the room trip the lunar cycle's tracker?

Our tank is in our bedroom, which means that the room doesn't stay pitch dark throughout the night. Is this a problem for the lunar cycle?

thanks,
George

You will probably be fine. Especially if the sensor will be inside a canopy. When my tank lights are off, I can have every other light in the room on and it won't trigger the sensor (in an enclosed canopy). Even opening one of my cabinet doors isn't enough to trigger it.

As luminary said, it shouldn't be a big deal if it isn't exposed to the full light.

Thanks.

No canopy just MH pendants hanging from ceiling. Will let you know how it goes. Sounds like room light won't be a problem.

Thanks for your predicitions!!

George
