Multiple 8850 LEDs suitable for SPS tank?

I'm about to set up a 42" x 18" x 16" tall/deep reef tank. I'm planning for some SPS and I am wondering if I could connect 3-4 of the 8850 LED modules to a Tunze controller and have strong enough lighting. It would be interesting to have a tank without a large T5 light hanging above it. Does the 7000 controller have enough connection ports for this many LED lights. I have the 8821 on my refugium and I'm really happy with the quality. Are these lights dimmable and is the spectrum controllable with a controller? I think the magnet to adjust spectrum is very cool but would be tough for 3-4 lights.

Thank you,

Adam

I considered this for my 215 and in the end felt it was unsightly and awkward to have 8 lights and cords and power supplies. The 7000 can support 8 lights if only lights and pumps were connected or 4 with lights, pumps and switched sockets, each color channel is dimmable. I would suggest waiting, I cannot say much more but something more suitable is due later this year. I could also recommend Reefbright or Kessil as really good lights even if the form factor isn't what you want. I use Kessils and plan to supplement with Reefbright strips soon to light some marginal areas.

Thanks Roger for your honesty, I'll keep an eye out for the next Tunze light product you're referring to. I do really like the design of these Tunze LED lights, always thinking outside of the box at Tunze it seems.
