Multiple anemones / clownfish harem / questions.

How many different anemones can you keep in one tank? I'm considering keeping multiples in my standard 90 gallon.

Also, what kind of fish could you keep with multiple anemones. I know that some anemones can kill fish pretty easily, so just looking for fish (other than clowns) that might do ok.

I'm down to a pair of clownfish currently (only have a small tank and have had a couple fish die of recently), but I also love invertebrates, so if I could do an invertebrate heavy tank with a clownfish harem, that might be cool if there were enough anemone in there. I also considered doing a clownfish harem with a whole bunch of different occelaris varieties in the tank. Would that be a problem? And you would need them all to be about the same size and add them all at the same time, correct?

What should I be aware of with anemone and what they might eat if given the chance? How simple can an anemone heavy tank be kept? Are there alot of supplements needed? I will be running 2 reefbreeder LEDs without lenses on them to give a wider view and 2 bulb T5.

Multiple anemones can work.

But there is no such thing as a clownfish harem. At best you may get a pair that accepts to share the tank and anemones with a few"reservists" of their own kind.

I would try introducing the clowns small and all at the same time and of the same kind , some clown varieties are more aggressive . As the grow a pair will emerge and be the most dominant , make sure that they are well fed and have enough room . Good luck

This. The "reservists" are non sexually differentiated juveniles.
