multiple anemones

I am curious If you can have multiple anemones in one tank? If so which ones can you have and if you can have multiple different types in one tank?

Thank you

I have tried it in the past, and personally I won't do it again --- others have had success with it.

Tried a health Haddoni and a health LTA in the same tank (( 58 and was running carbon )). Neither one would still settled in. Once I moved the LTA to a different tank the Haddoni settled in and stayed put, and the LTA settled right into its new (( but existing )) tank.

Prior to that I had an LTA and BTA in that 58, while neither one moved, the both looked better after being separated. Same was true with Haddoni and BTA.

Keeping the same species in the same tank (( different color morphs )) won't present any issues (( assuming the tank is "right" for anemones to begin with. I currently have 2 Haddonis in one tank and 2 more in another. All are doing great.

In the past I did two LTA in the same tank, and several (( around 10 or so )) BTAs in the same (( different from the LTA tank )) without any issues.

I have a friend who keeps a carpet and an LTA. Each is on its own side (6ft tank).

I haven't done it in years so cant offer much advice there. They did okay, just tried to keep them seperated.

It's OK if you can guarantee that they will never wander and touch.
You can keep different colors of BTA in the same tank together. There is a surprising variety of them. I currently keep a dozen or so comprised of three color variants.

3 color variants? ive only heard of green and rose bta's. and the purple one someone posted a few days ago but thats the only purple i've seen.

I have red green and brown with orange tips.

i have a seabay to long tentacles and a green bubble tip all in the same tank and a large pink tube anemone. they all are fine if there is enough flow they will all find there happy place . but it can be dangerous i had 1 seabay kill another the other day. the small 1 detached from its rock and floated into the big 1 and got whooped.
