Multiple anthias sp. in a 180g?

I'm trying to choose a school of anthias for my 180g. In a standard 180 (6' x 2' x 2') can you have more than one school of anthias or is this asking for trouble?

Right now I'm considering the following anthias
4 squampinnis
5 carberryi or 5 resplendents

The rest of the tankmates will be semi-aggressive or peaceful such as: tassled filefish, bluespot angel, red velvet fairy wrasse, midas blenny, and maybe a few others.

Hi,
sure it´s possible to keep those Anthias in your tank,
but I had both species in my 250g Tank.
The problem I see is that the squampinnis will be more dominant then the
carberryi. They got attacked in my tank and unfortunately starved to death.
I had several discussions about not mixing different anthias types in one tank.
Nemanthias carberryi

Pseudanthias squamipinnis
Pseudanthias pulcherrimus
both from the Pseudanthias genus should work together.

sorry for my bad english. I´m german :wildone:

I've mixed many species of anthias without any problems. I know that Dispars and Bartletts get along well and will shoal together. Dispars are very peaceful and are better shoalers in my experience. I kept a bicolor and a bimaculatus with a group of Bartletts in my 180 and I had no problems at all. They would all hang out together in the late evening which was really pretty. The combinations you're suggesting would likely work.
