multiple calcium dispensers

I want to add the calcium dispenser to my system but I'm sure my kalk demands are beyond the capacity of one dispenser. I currently use a litermeter 3 for top off.

How would you suggest connecting/adding multiple dispensers for use with my litermeter pump?

If I switch to the Osmolator topoff system, can more than one dispenser be added to a single Osmolator top off unit? I currently evaporate 2-3 gallons a day, but anticipate going to a larger tank and up to 6 gallons of evaporation per day.

I see you are using a calcium reactor so I really don't see the need for multiple dispensers. It would be possible in a very expensive elaborate set up but i don't really recommend it. The basic problem is you would need the accessory switched socket and then metric PVC plumbing from a Tunze return pump, then flow diverters and multiple calcium reactors running in parallel each from it's own diverter. Kalk is an impractical additive to maintain calcium in large tanks, its main purpose would be to counterbalance any CO2 from the reactor and stabilize pH. The solution from the reactor should be saturated so their would be no advantage to attaching them in series. Seeing as the system works off of evaporation I don't see multiple units really boosting calcium. Now I could see a way to better utilize your litermeter by simply mizing a saturated kalk solution, properly decanting it and then placing a floating cover over it to prevent reaction with air. But to rely on kalk to do much on a large system is impractical.

Wow! I was really under the impression that with enough evaporation, kalk could be used as the only source of calcium added to a reef, albeit with frequent water changes. I was hoping to move away from using a calcium reactor due to the problems that can occur with ph fluctuation. I have addressed this question with another vendor and he also recommend using the kalk reactor in conjunction with the calcium reactor, and not exclusively a kalk reactor. Thank you for you response!
