multiple clownfish

Sorry if this is a stupid question but I couldn't use the search feature.

Can someone tell me if it's possible to add a couple of gold stripe maroon clowns to a tank that already has a couple of false perculas? The tank is a 180 mixed reef.

Never tried it, but I have been told the Maroons will kill the perculas. I have a pair of skunks and a pair of perculas. They get along fine, but the maroons tend to be more aggressive.

That is a bad Idea with any clowns, if you have a pair, or even just v2 clowns leave it atthat, never mix species, unless theres only one of two diff species, and dont get more than 2 unless its false percs occellaris.

I have 1 maroon and a pair of perc's. I havent seen a single problem, unless you think the maroon trying to hang with the perc's and not being chased off is a problem.

180 g tank is big enough for two pairs. If the Ocellaris in in first, then add Maroon. It is likely not work if you have the maroon in first because Maroon is much more aggresive and will kill the new Ocellaris.
If they settle in opposite ends of the tank, then everything will be fine, especially if you have host for each species, othewise they will not settle and be comfortable (like start breeding)
To me breeding is the ultimate sign that you are sucessful in keeping these beautiful fishes.
