Multiple Clownfish

Hey guys - this is probably a stupid question but I know I will get an answer here. I have had a 75 Gallon tank and I am now moving up to a 300G. I currently have two black percs (among other fish - of course) but my wife is now clamoring for nemo. Would it be ok for me to add two additional True Percs in the 300G - or will all hell break loose between the clowns?:D

I am guessing in this size tank the pairs can probably co-exhist in seperate parts of the tank, but I would rather ask now then have poor beat up and bullied fish later.

Thanks in advance!

In that size tank you have a chance, but since your wife likes Nemo why don't you go with Occs(nemo's) and have an even better chance than w/ true's?

It should be OK IMHO. Just make sure you put whatever the existing pair are hosting in on the far side of the tank so that their territory doesn't extend across the whole darn tank. My tomatoe clown's territory range seemed to be about 2-3' across. There may be some bullying, but what are you going to do? Clown fish will be clown fish.

IME, true percs tend to stay closer to their host than occelaris. In a 300 gallon tank, you should have any problems regardless of the species you choose.

:D
