I was just wondering if you get to juvenile coral beauty's at the same time if you could keep them in the same tank together? If so that would be really nice.
Dwarf angels are typically protogynous hermaphrodites, meaning that they all start out as females, and switch sex to males when they get large enough without other males around. Some also maintain harems of a single male with more than one female.
As long as you obtained smaller females, or one male (larger) and one female (smaller), and the tank was the appropriate size (75 would probably be enough, minimally), you will probably be successful. There are always exception though - I have paired cherub angels a few times over the years, and recently tried to form a harem - the male accepted the smaller female, but the resident female did not, even after extended time in an acclimation box where she could see the new female...
Personally, I like to get fish away from the LFS ASAP... If you're able to get at least one smaller angel, then the two should be fine.
I have multiple dwarfs in my tank, including 4 flames, 1 Coral Beauty and 2 Multifasciatus
That's a lot of dwarfs[emoji15]
Okay so this seems really encouraging for what j want to do, thx for the example of you're tank. The Lfs I go to gets stock new Angels every week so I might just find out when the stock comes in and pick the fish before they even get in the tanks
