Multiple pairs of Dartfish??

I am on the fence about what I want for my final addition to my tank. I have been looking at Wrasses but have not found one I am in love with yet. Right now I have a pair of normal firefish and am wondering if it would be OK to add another pair from the dartfish family. I was thinking either 2 Zebra Bars or 2 Scissortails. I have read they are peaceful fish, and those are not very similar looking to the Firefish.

The current stock list is:
2 Occ Clowns
2 Firefish
1 Dwarf Flame Angel
1 Mandarin
1 Yellow Watchman w/ pistol
1 High Fin Striped Goby w/ pistol (both small)


Experiences? Opinions?

What size tank do you have? I have a 190 with 1 Purple fire fish, 5 Flasher wrasses, and 5 zebra dartfish plus other fish. My dartfish basically stay hidden except for at feeding time. I do not have any aggressive fish at all.

Possibly if the tank is located in a really quiet area they may come out more.

I have a 450g DT with approx. 70 fish...including 3 firefish (2 stay on 1 side of tank, 1 on other side), and 3 zebras...that are very active , but can 'disappear' in a split second! But I do like the way the zebras are always together, thinking of adding a few more.

video has zebras in beginning, I don't think firefish were in tank at that time

I have five zebras and three scissortails in my tank. They stick together for the most part although the scissortails which are newer additions tend to hang out in a cave more than the zebras. All in all very under rated fish imo. They are reef safe, tend to schoal and are as peaceful as you can get. Great dither fish.

I have a pair of Zebra dartfish and a single Firefish and they get along fine.

I have been thinking the same thing. I have a pair of purple firefish in my 75g and am interested in a pair of some other type of dartfish. The purple firefish rarely go past the center of the tank. I either want scissortails, a pair of orange firefish, or some other type (wanted to get blue gudgeons, but they seem to fare poorly in tanks). Tank mates are a pair of ocellaris, a yellow tang, and pair of scooter dragonettes.
