multiple pistol shrimp and compatibility

I have an aurora and pair of yashia gobies that I want to get pistol shrimps for but have questions.

1: I have a pair of greenbanded and tiger gobies which are very small. I also have a bluespot jawfish. Any chance any of these becoming casualties from the pistol shrimps?

2: Will the pair of yashia pair up with a single shrimp or will I need two shrimp?

3: Any pistol "better" than the other? Tiger, Randalli, or other.

Thanks,
Randy

from personal experience, I'd go with the randalli. They don't get as big, generally come to you in a very small state, and don't have a huge territory generally. Your pair of yashas, if they already share a hole, will pair with one shrimp or two if you find two that are opposite sexes. The other fish shouldn't pose a problem since the randalli are generally very small, usually less that 1". If they're living peacefully with your gobies now, there shouldn't be any future issue. If/when you get your pistol, make sure to try and keep it in the net until you get the net close to the hole where the gobies live so the shrimp can find their hole and pair up with them.

I have good luck with tiger pistol shrimp; I have a pair that is associated with one goby.
