Multiple VDM units on one Apex

I am planning on upgrading a tank to 4 AI sol blue units. I would like to be able to control the intensity, ramp on off cycles of each unit individually. I assume I need 4 vdm units to do this? does apex support this? will programing be impossible/nightmare. If I cant do 4 units could I do 2?

There's no practical limit to how many VDM modules you can connect (there's an overall limit of 240 modules with the system but if you need that many, you've got other issues!). The programming won't be any different as all the ports are uniquely named based on the VDM's buss address.
