Checking my in and out TDS readings of my DI chambers. I was suprised to see the RO tds reading to be 1PPM. This portion is usually around 13PPM. Its never been this low with RO only. The out of the DI is of course always 0 PPM.

I wonder what the difference is. Cold weather? Finally purged out all the additional chemicals they add for the summer months? I dunno, but it makes me and my DI cartridges happy.

Lucky................

Here in northern Rutherford county it still sucks.
My incoming is still 300ppm+ and i live less than a mile from the treatment facility.

Actually, my subject is a little misleading. I do live out in the county and its consolidated utility water... not murfreesboro city. Also just to make things clear, that 1ppm is after the RO unit, but usually its 16ppm+ after the RO (before DI). Inbound from the tap its at 167PPM right now.

anyone know what the water quality is in nashville?...i not using tap, but its just a question i always thought

Ill take that 167!

After RO i get 15-20ppm.

Depends on where you are. It seems as though people on the west side have better tap water than the rest of us...

Yea, talk aobut hard water. WOW!!! I have a few whole house water filter kits lying round the house, but I cannot get to the Main water supply easliy enought to install one where I can change the filter...LMK if you want one...
