Mushroom Problem, Switch from PC to PC-R

Well from the title you can pretty much depict my problem. I have a nice rock of frilly mushrooms probably 3-4 inches from the top of my BC-14. I switched over to PC-Rs, and they seem a bit bothered and aren't expanding as much as they used to. One of the little ones actually looks like he's deteriorating and falling off the rock.

I can't really move it because it's on a pretty large rock and there's no room for it. I cut lighting down from 7.5/9.5 to 6.5/7.5...

Is this normal because of the more "intense" lighting? Will they eventually expand fully again?

You can use something such as window screen to shade the mushrooms. You can remove a layer each week so they can adjust to the higher light.
