mushrooms and zo's not doing well under LEDs

Hi, i recently changed my lighting to LEDs, there 72w cree XPE and XPG led unit http://www.aliexpress.com/item/2012-New-Design-D72w-Aquarium-Reef-Light-Cree-XP-LEDs-Chip-Serice-Add-80-90-degree/678218420.html , and i have 3 led units on my 7ft x 2ft x 2ft aquarium everything with rest of the corals are good and water perameters are fine but my mushrooms and zo's dont seem to expand fully, the placement of the of the mushrooms are in the open at the bottom of the tank with a medium flow. every thing else is doing very well, has anyone had unusual result from using led lighting

I have 2 radion's over my reef (24x36x20). Hard corals are growing well and look nice. Zoas, mushrooms, coralline and even GSP's are lackluster at best. I'm not sure if it's the LED's or lack of nutrients in my case.

My zoas rics and softies are all doing well under my radion. I have a ric that was the size of a quarter when i got him and now he's the size of a small cake plate.

How long have they been acting like this? Sometimes they need time to properly acclimate to the adjusted par in the tank. Every coral is different. Watching over each coral and learning about how the coral in your tank interacts is just part of the hobby ive found.

when i switched from MH to ai sols i realized that acclimating your corals to the lights is super important. if the LEDs are too strong you WILL melt your ricordeas/mushrooms. currently all my ricordeas are off to the side away from being directly under the lights and they are doing quite well.

just slowly acclimate the corals, or if you can control the intensity of the lights, work your way up slowly.

When I switched from t5s to LEDs I acclimated my corals by controlling the intensity of the ai LEDs. LEDs are strong and not all the corals do well under them. Some of my zoas were closing up at first for a day or two but then acclimating them for the new lights worked good for me.

You may need to light acclimate like others have said due the brightness. I had a similar issue when going from non-dimmmable to dimmable LEDs.

My zoas looked like they were running from the light (moving lower in the tank) and the mushrooms looked to partially open. Once I changed my lights I finally tuned it in and the mushrooms open completely and the zoas look a lot better.

I went from 100% intensity for whites and blues to 65% blue and 50-55% white.
