Mushrooms?

You need a general corals section lol.

So, I have a 30 Gallon tank, tall, with 42lbs of Live Rock, and plans for 2 Ocellaris Clownfish, 2 firefish, 2 peppermint shrimp, and 2 hermits. The lighting is 1 Coral Sun T5 HO bulb and 1 Ultra Sun T5 HO bulb in a 24in hood. I was just wondering if I could have Mushroom Corals in such a tank or if they need more light then I currently provide.

So, are Mushroom Corals an option or a no-no?

Under that lighting you could keep, zoanthids, xenia, leather coral, green star polyps, sun coral (requires feeding only).

The 6500k sunlight bulb might be a bit strong for them, if you feel your tank could be a bit bluer then replacing that one with some kind of 14k t5 would give you much better mushroom coloration overall :)
