I've had my a stripe green mushroom for about 2 wks from liveaquaria, it has expanded from itsy tiny to small, how long will it take to get to at least 1" in diameter?

Depends... How are your params? Corals tend to grow faster under excellent conditions than they do under fair conditions.

Hm, I beg to disagree. My mushrooms get mad when my water is super clean, they LOVE dirty water!! Ahahaha, too bad they are the only ones, so i keeps the water clean

they will thrive more in moderate rather than fast flow water and like moderate ligh as well, if they are not happy they will detatch themselves and float around the tank until they find somewhere they like

mushrooms are filter feeders. thus they improve water quality by feeding on nutrients(nitrates & others) in the water column.
But thats no reason to overfeed.
Just give it time and make sure you are not underfeeding.
