My 110 Gallon Peninsula Reef Tank

After referencing your build again - I have been stalking this thread for months now :), I just realized that you switched from using two actinics to blue plus. With such wonderful colors using the actinics and running the reef for months with only four bulbs, what prompted the switch?

BTW - I love your setup...I am trying my best to mimic.

Hope to see another fts soon :)

sh8g8delik - haha! thanks! yes we will just have to see what happens!

4bruceinc - Thanks for the kind words! I've always played around with bulb combo every so often! however this time the main driving force for me going with 4 blue+ and 2 corals+ is the color lost in the pink lemonade once I feel that it's back to it's glory days I probably go back to usinging the actinic bulbs again as this bulbs just makes the fluorescent on the corals glows like nothing!!!!!

stay tune for a FTS!

Hey SR, I don't know if you answered this, but what materials/components did you use to make your base besides rock? Looks like you had some platforms in there but that seemed man-made.

Great tank!

sahin - thank you! very kind of you!

Holy ****!! That's awesome.
Absolutely beautiful.
Forgot.. Are you running leds only?

Matt - thanks for the kind words as always! As per lighting, am still running a ATI 6 bulb fixture complemented with 2 Reefbrite all blue.

neuro - thanks! as per the two structures, both were put together from live rocks and dry rocks, then acrylic rods were used to hold them together
