Wow! sweet ride, that's a very beautiful tank...

Thanks bebereef!!!

Beautiful tank. With the growth your having you won't have islands in a year;)

Thanks Dustin1300, I am hoping for that!!! then that will give me a very good excuse to get a larger tank!!!!

I already commented on the other forum but awesome display and nice photos....so clean!

As always thanks for the compliment Darryl!!!!

Clearly your green and red monti caps are doing spectacular. Have they always been this close to the bottom? I have two, and they are getting rather large, and was afraid to move them down. How long have they been there and are you getting good growth with them? Your tank is spectacular, and I also admire your aquascaping skills. You are an inspiration for my next setup when we build our house next year!

Holy...... :) Subscribed! The aquascaping is amazing. Planning a build EXACTLY like yours. Can you give some more shots of equipment and setup? Thanks for the inspiration. Keep us posted

thanks for the compliment tiffyreefer!!!

I've had those monti near the bottom of the tank for almost a year, from the time I've acquired them as frags no larger that a 1" frag plug. Overall they are doing well, but that green cap is actually a purple rim from the original owner, when I placed my frag near the bottom I lost that aspect of the monti.

Keep us posted in your next build thread!!!! if I may give you one advice with my setup make sure that you go with at least a 24" wide tank, frags grow a lot faster that what people think!!!!

I might be moving some montis! Noted about the 24" width. I wish I had done that with mine the moment I started aquascaping! HA!

WOW beautiful!!! I'm jealous, I almost have the same dimensions and my tank looks nothing like yours, I've had an issue with lighting lately can I get a little more info on yours and maybe a pic of it?

Your Peninsula is FANFrickenTastic. I wish I never dropped my 5 footer...

Thanks Acronic!!!!

Am sure your current system is much better that the one that you dropped.

May I ask what you used to aquascape? Acrylic rods?

thats correct I only used acrylic rods. I was going to use some 2 part epoxy as well but the acrylic seems to be more that enough.

Thanks reeflover7826!!!

Currently am using 2 aquamedic pendant with 250W Phoenix bulb and supplementing it with T5 KZ superblue. I've just played around with other bulbs and found that the is the "brightest" as far as am concern. sorry I currently dont have any photos of the light fixture.

what is your current lighting setup?
