Dedicated 100gpd RO/DI for top off only. I might have to get a booster pump for it. This will go inside a cabinet so I wanted a compact unit. I will continue to use my other unit for water changes since it is being upgraded to a 300gpd unit to save on waste water and quicker for emergencies (hope not)
Awesome setup and great idea with the wheels! Just picked up my reefoman tank this weekend with similar dimensions to yours. Can't wait to get it going. I was wondering how you felt about that niger trigger in your mixed reef. Any issues?
Man I have been so busy the last 3 months.. The tank is doing great. I just ran across a before and after pic of the tank growth in 4 months. Amazing what you dont notice when you constantly see the tank everyday.
First month setup
3 months after setup
At 6 months almost
I have already fragged allot of the colonies as they were starting to grow into each other and then had my buddy help re-arrange the corals so I had a better mixture of corals all over the tank.
Reef or Die, I love my Niger trigger. He fights with my sailfin tang all day long and then sleep together at night. Weird. He never bothers anything in my tank but just remember to glue everything down as he has a tendency to play around with my coral placement if I don't.
LOL.. Unintentional believe me. I have way too much flow in the tank so the sand kept getting blown away in the front so I had extra reborn crx media and it worked. It even has coraline algae on it.
