Thanks, will post another update on friday, got an Aussie blue tip elegance coral, a bright pink fungia plate coral, some nice zoas and a maxima clam being delivered.
Thanks, Yeah I thought that would be the best way and luckily the pecking order was established pretty quickly without too much bickering, also in most LFS round here they only seem to get the females in anyway and it is good to see the transformation happen, I would recommend them to anyone with a suitable setup they are real pretty upclose and always out swimming about in the open.
My Powder blue tang has been sold to a local reefer for his new build, this will be six months down the line though, it will be sad to see him go but I figure at his size and the amounts he eats is worth at least 3 smaller fish so either going to increas the amount of lyretail anthias or get a couple of nice wrasse.

I got one question, since you painted 2 sides of your tank black.
Yesterday I bought a black vinyl acrylic based paint to paint black the back panel of my reeftank.
Well before I did it on my tank I tried the paint on a small piece of glass around 15" by 15", after 16 hours the paint still hasnt dried up completely and I can still peel of some paint with my fingers if I apply some pressure and slide my finger across the paint.
Did you encounter the same problem and left it dry up alot more or I got the wrong paint?
The also had oil based paints but I didnt want to try those.

I had no problems like that, I painted mine outside and it was a real hot day with sun shining directly onto it so the paint was literally drying as soon as it went on the glass it took me 4 hours to do 8 coats, the first coat is always the hardest to get to 'stick' to the glass, did you wipe down the glass before you painted it? Make sure there is no oily residue on the glass and it is clean.
Thanks, not too sure how thick it is in inches but it is 15mm thick, 3/4" is 19mm and 1/2" is 12mm, so right in the middle of those two.
It was built by a well respected tank maker who has been in the business over 30 years so when he told me 15mm would be fine I was happy to go ahead.
Yeah, I will probably do it at some stage the Tunzes are great but I love the clean look and they are just a bit too big inside the tank and the cables are a bit messy inside the tank too.
probably go with a MP40w and a MP20.
