so today i got my finaly step done before i could start filling the tank. would like to start off by saying thank you to emery emessier he came by my house after work and threw up couple beams for my floor to have a peace of mind about. so no worries about coming home to my tank in the basement of a rented house. i also would like to thank bubbabobbrain for the great deal on the rest of the things i needed. and thank you everyone else that has helped or has talked me thru any of this. so here is the pics

lol last time the baby got it all over him and the floor of my dinning room lol atleast it was just the epoxy part and it dryied clear on the floor but took a while to get off chris lol fun fun

looking good. you may want to consider putting some egg crate on the bottom of the tank before you add more sand.

I'm more scared of the egg crate getting squished by the rock I have it right on the glass so nothing can dig under it. Thank you for all the good comments any input or anything you would change let me know it will take couple days to fill

Lights on of off for cycle period and the last thing I need to buy us two heaters and a controller and input on those?

ive used an aqua medic for 7 years or so. never had any probs with it, heat probly 2 300watts(one as a backup).... might be over kill now that i think of it, your sump is under the tank ,and not in basement right?

its just a personal preference some do some dont . although it looks like the rocks you placed on the bottom all seem to be fairly flat so that should help.

My lfs in Auburn, MA has a newer brand of electronic equipment that has a great price tag and come very highly recommended from several of the customers that have purchased them. The company is called "AQUATOP" I think and they have awesome prices on there heaters. I got a 250 watt heater for $22. I think the 300 watt ones are like $25. If you want I will make sure of the price and let you.know in case you want me to grab you a few. As for conglomerate for the heaters I would recommend any basic controller, even like an older reefkeeper with a temp probe. I had an older reefkeeper that I used to control lights and my heater and it worked flawlessly.

Depending on your stocking plans I would consider lowering the height of the rockwork. It seems pretty high and with minimal room for growth. Also, I've had rock work that high before and water changes sucked because it would expose a lot of coral. Just my opinion. Looks cool though.
