My 1st 180 RR Project, Cust Built stand/canopy Tunzes etc..

I felt a couple drops when i was on 19 but I started cutting west as soon as I could to avoid it. didn't look like It was going to rain the sky was pretty clear. welcome to florida I guess.

Yup thats the truth, itll be pouring at my house and be sunny across the street, wierd weather here for sure!!!! PM'd ya by the way...

Im not really sure, it might work for you. Rob would know about it, he will probally respond, hes got a 265. But I think youll be ok

depends on your sump size really and if you will have any other flow in the tank. I don't like so much water going through my sump and the snapper averages 98 watts. very efficient and I run tunzes that are 15 watts each. the most energy efficient way I have found so far. in a taller tank I might step down to 3/4 to step up the velocity if I wasn't going to use tunzes. mike can always do this himself but you never know how things will work out. I might would go with the dart on a 210. but then again the snapper is my pump of choice for my 265 with tunzes and a wavebox likely in the near future.

Is the 75gal tank a tempered glass tank? I've heard that a hole cant be cut in a tempered tank because it will shatter, not true?

It will shatter if its tempered, but my 75 doesnt have that kind of glass.

Thanks Rob for responding to his question!!

I am not positive but I think normally the only panel that is tempered is the bottom. don't hold me to it but it seems like I read it somewhere.

your welcome don.
hey mike one of the pics shows some saw dust in the pipe still. make sure when you do a wet test that you are sure to have the socks in so the pieces can't get into the pump. most of them have close tolerences and the small piece will cause noise or damage.

How did the plumbing go today mike & rob??? Hopefully everything turned out ok... :) :) :) From the pictures its looks like it did, any difficulties in anything today??? Is their water in the tank yet...

Rob do you have a Dart? The snapper was not out when I bought my Dart. It uses a lot more watts than the Snapper. Is the snapper quiet like Darts? Are the fittings the same as Dart's?

Morning all!!

Hey Rob - Yeah when I get ready to finalize the pipes and glue them ill make sure everything is clean and ill run it with the socks.

Bobby- Yes plumbing went great NO problems whatsoever and only 1 HD run!!, Well at least when Rob wasent goofing around sniffing all that glue. Boy keeping that glue away from him is like keeping toys away from a baby!!! NA he didnt sniff any glue, he did a great job. I really like the way it came out. He did a really neat job and once everything if finalized its going to be "PERFECT".

Now if I can just get that glass cut in that 75!!! HINT HINT :D !!!!! -hmm hmmm- Jamie!!!! :D :D
