Can I add rodi drinking water system in my apartment?

I am looking at adding a rodi drinking water system with tank in my apartment but hole is required. I cant drill any holes but the sink has this dummy plug. can I remove this plug and add the system and install and install pretty easily? does the hole have to be smaller?

You DO NOT want to drink DI water. RO is okay, but DI is not good.

I run direct from my RO, bypassing my DI, and then through a remineralization cartridge. It feeds a faucet next to my sink as well as my Espresso Machine.

But that would require me to mess with the apartments installation of the faucet.

Would really just like to use an existing separate hole if possible

That hole is a standard size and can be used by most Soap Dispensers and RO Faucets.
