My 2 year update

So it's officially been two years since I started my 200 gallon mixed reef. I've been through a lot with this thing but have stayed the course. I have to say this has been the most challenging setup as of yet.

I started with two simple rock piles

I started adding corals nearly right away after the cycle completed. Not sure why I chose larger colonies...

Here's my tank after around 6 months. The tank ran fallow since I took the word of a fellow reefer and ended up with a tank full of ich. I learned a valuable lesson to QT everything.

And now today. Obviously a lot different but all good. I ended up with 8 Kessil 360WE's and a lot more flow.

I'm excited to see the growth in the next couple years.

So did you get rid of all of your LPS on purpose? Looks good both then and now but I liked the look of the large LPS colonies.

I still have a lot of the LPS but have moved more towards SPS and Zoas. I still have a huge Pectinia (12"+), Elegance (12"+), Duncans (50+ heads), etc... I've focused on more rare and nicer pieces.

Yeah, I've had to turn my MP40's up quite a bit. I've had to remove some LPS that couldn't hack it. I may still need to re-home my Lobo as well. It seems to be having trouble adjusting to the increased light and flow.
