the bio wheels arent in there. it is for a refugium and to hold the heater and filter media
that is green star polyps

DId you transfer the sand easily or get new sand.
I need to re-scape my 20l(I do this every year for 6 years now..., take everything out, clean and dip rocks in stored tank water and clean glass. But my sand is skimpy.....not sure if I should add a few cups of more sand now or wait. If I add more sand when I re-scape, will it cause a spike?...

that sand is the same sand from the 29g tank. i just made sure that i only got sand not the water when scooping out the sand. i had no spikes that i know of, the phosphates went way up after i did the change though.
duncans are doing great, i wish they would sprout new heads though
