Tank: 20 gallon, up and running for 9 years
Filtration: CPR 2R skimmer, CPR hang on refugium
Additional circulation: minijet powerhead, cycles with wavemaster pro
Lighting: Coralife 24" setup with 150W 20,000K DE MH and 2 65W PC actinics
Maintenance: daily water topoff with RODI, q4-6 week 25% water changes, feed fish daily, clean glass once a week

Corals: mostly softies including zoos, mushroom leathers, tree corals, finger leathers, mushrooms, ricordia, GSPs, pipe organ, protopalythoas, and tons of xenia, also candy cane and pink goniopora
Inverts: hitchhiker miniature feather dusters and starfish, coral banded shrimp, few snails and hermit crabs, crocea and tridacnid clams
Fish: orchid dottyback, maroon clown, soon to add 6-line wrasse

A few more pics: the one with the open canopy shows the hang on refugium (with 18W PC lights) on the left and hang on skimmer on the right. The last shows a close up of some of my coolest finds: neon green toadstool and Sinularia I got from Aquatic Technology in N. Ohio and a fairly rare variety of organ pipe I got at Tropicorium in Detroit.

Hey Red Devil,

I was lucky enough to actually pick up the Sinularia at close to that size. Apparently the LFS I got it from originally got it from a local reefkeeper who gets them to grow very well under metal halides. It actually hasn't grown too much for me in the last 9 months but I do not add anything to my tank to feed the corals specifically.

The green toadstool was a lucky find that I found at a LFS. It actually has done very well in my tank with constantly good polyp expansion. It was a frag. My brother also has one that he got at another LFS and his was a frag also so I think that is the most common way to get a hold of these. However, I think I have seen these sold online also- at a steep price.

lol i got mine for free I got it as just a small frag from someone. All i traded for it was some xenia. Looks exactly like yours, except judging by your pics, i think the base of mine is a bit darker purple. And like you say, its ALWAYS opened up really really wide like that.

Vijay, the link does seem to show and describe pretty much the same coral. Mine has a cream colored base as described in the link (as opposed to the cooler sounding purplish base that sir_dudeguy has). Maybe he could get you a frag!

Crackerballer, I guess you noticed my abbreviation for "every". Yup, I am in one of the professions you mentioned.

I made it to the annual fragswap in Cleveland yesterday (found out about it from a forum here at reefcentral) and I picked up some nice little frags of corals I have almost never before seen in stores. Maybe I will post some pics of them later. Thanks again for the compliments guys!
