Yea I work in a Pharmacy and am applying to Pharmacy school at UNC Chapel Hill next year. I also have a 20L, but it's not setup. Yea abbreviation gave you away.

Got some pics of my newest guys that I picked up at the fragswap. The first one is my favorite- and something I have never seen before (at least this color variety-which looks amazing under moonlights). It is a Favites sp. (Moon or pineapple coral). The second shows a waving hand Anthelia coral (with adjacent xenia). Anthelia aren't supposed to be so rare but I almost never see them in LFSs. The last shows some garden variety zoos (on bottom left and top middle) which go by the cool sounding names of "Nuclear Dragon Eye and Eagle Eye". The names sound cooler than they look...LOL!
mooOo, I actually have been hoping for a long time to get my first SPS coral ever. I would love to have a nice Seriatopora or Pocillipora!

Awesome tank, extremely clean. I notice you are using a skimmer on your tank, which I am assuming contributes to the cleanliness of your tank. I was told not to run a skimmer on my nano w/ zenia in it because the zenia liked slightly nutrient rich water. Any comments on that thought? My zenia is doing well so far, but I am thinking about running a skimmer anyways to help remove particulate matter in the water column. TIA.

mwoneal, I agree with the thought that nutrient rich water is beneficial for xenia. When my tank was not so clean the xenia population absolutely exploded. It seemed liked they grew to plague-like proportions almost overnight. With cleaner water they spread very slowly but with adequate lighting (Xenia absolutely love bright light ) they actually still look happy. My preference is to keep a clean tank with as little nuisance algae as possible and I think having the skimmer helps a ton with that. The trade off of limited Xenia growth is worth it to me. Actually, I prefer that they not grow so fast or else they seem to take over the whole tank!
