Here's a better pic with more of the whites on

So I basically notched the front of the container opposite to the bottom side I opened. Placed egg crate over the opening and laid filter floss on top of the egg crate

So I figure I'll setup a little cheato in the second chamber. Bought two of these guys online and will see how it grows. Anything to lower phosphates is a plus [emoji6]

Hopefully those LEDs will last. I've read some reviews that they burn out pretty quickly/they're not bright enough.
I bought two to test out. If not I'll look into possibly getting the jbj or that magnafuge on bulk reef magnet kind. I'll have to do some more research and see what works without spending too much cash on a refugium light

Moved some stuff around and glued down some frags I picked up today. The pink gonipora isn't happy yet but everything else is

Still playing with water flow. Have a 240 koralia towards the bottom always on and the two 425 on either side towards the top alternating.

Re: cyano. How's your phosphate? I also had a cyano outbreak (Cost me a trochus snail who apparently thought it looked yummy; found him barely alive in the middle if it, and when I moved him, my cuc attacked..)
I was gone for a week feeding flake from an auto feeder, and overwhelmed my bagged PhosGuard. Small phosphate spike. Water change, lights off for a couple days, new PhosGuard in the bag and all is well.

I'm finally getting it under control. I added a third powerhead that shoots across the bottom of the tank and running the skimmer a little on the west side. I was only feeding a cube of mysis a day but I guess I wasn't exporting enough out. Between the phosguard, cheato in the refugium, more flow, more skimming and a good water change is gotten a lot better. Never changed my light schedule. That would've been next if I didn't see any improvement
