ok so i got this tank about 6 months ago (maybe more) and i had a frag swap to go to the next day so i set it up in a hurry with cured live rock and established everything EXCEPT water:( so i figured there would be no cycle (boy was i wrong) and i got a clown eventually it died and all the corals i got lived so i waited and redid it and got most everything right so now i have my 250 watt halide(20k) and my single sieo820 for flow and about 40 pounds of live sand (well its live now) about 20 pounds of live rock andno skimmer no sump and no reactor of any kind thats just about it well a 50 watt heater too and a ton of frags a large green bubble tipped anemone and a small one too for fish all i have is 4 green chromis that are pigs! well i think thats it but please feel free to post a question and or a comment

amaya, its ok i understand but you have to understand the camera sucks the average camera is like 3.2 mega pixles this is .1 so i cant expect good pics from it but im waiting to get a canon powershot a530 or a540

i think once everything grows like coral line and stuff it will look awesome but u kno u can speed that up with purple up?

i have been pondering if i wanted to go and buy prple up or not and coraline grows relitivly quik in my tank as my older frags (most were JUST added) have tons of coraline on them

frag is a fragment of coral everyone is to lazy to write out fragment so we use frag

frag swaps are great you go and by sell trade coral fragments(frags) with other hobbiests

frag racks are the corals breasts JK JK JK SORRY well anyways they are usually just eggcrate that is used to display and elevate tiny frags that have yet to become big enouh to display

oh wow that cracked me up.

Where do u even find a .1 megapixel camera? i didnt know there was such a thing unless they've started to come in happy meals.

how do you frag? are there any good posts or places to learn about frag'n.

I see tons of nice small corals on the LR in my LRS but I always wondered how they went from the large 20-30 pounds rocks into frags, or do you seed frags yourself for the trading, etc? off larger corals?

turbo2oh; thanks i appreciate the comment!

o2zen; fraggin varies alot depending on the coral in which you want to propigate. there is a coral propigation forum on this site and it has alot of great articles and info in it ... check that out for sure! what do the corals look like on your rock? pics? rocks usually dont have very much visable growth(besides coraline) on them there are of coarse some rare exceptions so im interested to see your rock frags can be aquired(i like fancy words they make me sound alot smarter than i am) by attending frag swaps and looking around on your local board also if your hand is clumsy and you have sps you can get tons of frags on accident!! some of my sps peps on the forum will concure with me here

gemini plan on any other fish in the tank? those chromis are nice but dude you could throw so more cool ones in there.
