My 29 gallon tank

i suggest going and getting as much live rock as possible even rubble which is cheap like 2 dollars a pound is fine coraline growth is nice but it really only takes hold after a few months

Ok, I am probably going to just do my original plan. I dont want to spend alot of money on LR. The PVC pipe doesnt really bother me now. How long do you think it will be before I get rocks covered in corraline, and that pipe covered in corraline?? I was thinking 6 months to a year.

my tank has never sat without being moved for over a few months but i would say many months 6 to 8 until you have a good amount it takes years to get those sweet 2mm thick slabs of it

you sohuld pick up a few pounds of LR that has more coraline then what you have now even if it does cost a little more... when i got my LR some peices were half covered in coraline.

nice i like that light you can make individual reflectors t5s are nice

Yea, I would have rather have gone with the Tek Fixture, but IMO too much money. Would I be able to keep LPS under this light??

unfortunatly the cover came off my maxi jet an took the mandarin from me he ate cyclops and brene and baby brine

Nice. I am eventually going to get a 40 Breeder. (by eventually I mean, about 1-2 years down the line). The 29 will be my learning tank so I can get the hang of things. Can you suggest a good skimmer that I dont need a sump for and is reliable, effective, yet not alot of money?

i did allot of reasearch i think 40 br is overrated the tank that is really slept on it the all glass 50gal its 36x18x18 im cycling mine now
