My 29g Biocube Build

With a single point light source I'm trying to keep the tri color from growign too lop sided, but what I've got now is swirling arms!

Got anymore info on how your back 3 chambers are set up? What is the clear tubing funning into the second chamber?

Good prompt to do a rundown of equipment and other stuff since the tank is actually doing really well.


Back Chambers are as follows:

Aquatic Life 115 skimmer (but turned 90 degrees from how people normally do it, so the output is into chamber 2)

Chamber 2: InTank media rack with filter floss on top rack. Level and temp sensors in chamber 2 with ATO hose also (that's the clear tubing)

Chamber 3: Heater, MJ1200 Return pump

Flow: Hydor FloRotator on the return, WP-25 Pump on right side about 4 inches from the surface. Using Wave 1 Speed 3- speed 2 is OK but anything more is too much. About 3 marks from the shortest pulse length.

I do Pickeling Lime in my ATO, no other supplements.

Lights

Home built LED "Cannon" - 1 100W Multi-chip LED "dreamchip" knockoff. Colors: White/blue/uv/blue/white (two different blues, two different whites) ran by home grown controller.

Livestock / Feeding:
Two Amphiprion ocellaris var. (Black Ocellaris) are fed NLS 1mm pellets two to three times daily, just as much as they eat.

Coral:
I don't really bother keeping track of names so if I label something wrong, I apologize

teal acro enchinata
Pink Mille
'Jedi Mind Trick'
Un Identified Acros (2)
Green birdsnest
pink birdsnest
Green and purple branching frogspawn
neon green open brian
"holly wood stunner" chalice
Red min blasto (seeing if it makes a come back, pretty rough)

Clean up Crew
8 small turbo snails
Variety of other snails (any that have survived my snail killing crab)
1 PITA crab that eats snails and gets out of the back chambers

long journey there Chris, impressive now sps got growth and colour now, did you still use chemipure, gfo, n purigen now?
 
Only thing in the media rack is filter floss on top, no GFO, no Chemipure, no Purigen. Kalk in the ATO and water changes with Reef Crystals.

SPS are doing well, growth, good color. Added a few lately will try to get another video up soon.

I do not use a screen top of any sort on this tank. The only two fish are clowns and they don't seem interested in jumping out unless something startles them pretty bad.
 
So I let this tank go a bit, no water changes for 5 months doesn't make happy SPS. Thankfully most just lost some color, no STN/die off. Color is coming back after a water change (I'll hopefully keep the water change cycle going) and some proper care. I'll try to get some pictures of the frag rack for comparison soon.
