my 29gal reef pics

Hey,

Well this is my 29gal nano reef. I know its not great but i love it. The settup is simple. 29gal low iron leemar tank and stand. 175watt 14k MH. HOB primz skimmer. A few powerheads and thats it. The tank has 50+ lbs live rock and no sand. The fish are 1 flame hawk, 1 yellowtail damsel, and a bluestripe pipefish. Tell me what you think of it and thanks alot.

I love the lil guy. He eats frozen babybrine and pods. Not shy at all. When i turn on the tank lights he is the first one to come out and get food.

do you have an overflow? if not how do you deal with the surface scum?

im working on getting it drilled in a few months. As of right now im taking it out with a cup once a day. But nextweekend im getting a remora with the prefilter that takes the water from the top.

I do have one SPS in the tank you can see its the big green one in the middle. Its half dead so im trying to see if this tank will make the SPS heal better.
