pics are not in order

I will do them in order the next time. Thanks Magvi for the info.I will more than likely get an ocean motions 4 way with a pump but witch pump I am not sure of yet.I don't want to drill a 3" hole for a 2" bulkhead.I would prefer something smaller. It might be better to go with an 8 way but thats alot of holes.

Personally, I'd count on 1000gph +/- through the overflow. I'd run the water to about 1/2" below the top of the tank so just about to the top of the teeth.
Tank looks to be 1/2" material, maybe thicker if my eyes are tricking me.
T5 lighting would be fine, no problem.
Why would y need more room between the slots and top of the tank? (just curious)

It looks to be 1/2" thick.I thought at that size tank it was 3/4" acrylic.I will have to take a measurement.I was told the tank would be 3/4" thick.I guess I was thinking of my old tank where I had a hob overflow and a good 1 1/2" space between the teeth and the top of the tank.I do admit this overflow is much larger .I was also thinking what if the overflow ever blocked I wouldn't have much space for error. This happened with my old tank(u tubes)The kit came with sponges I am not sure I will use them since they get dirty.I will have to either get a straight pipe with a strainer or do the dorso thing.I will have to see how much room I have in there.I think if I wanted there are 4 holes in the overflow box.the other holes are 1 1/4" so I could also use those holes to direct feed a skimmer but I think I will enlarge them to put 3/4" bulkheads and then enlarge the holes on the side of the overflow(they are 3/4" will enlarge them to fit a 1/2" bulkhead) so I can have my return line in my overflow.

this hole on the side of the overflow is 3/4" I should enlarge the hole to fit a bulkhead.I could just run a pipe threw it but it won't look as nice.I also plan to use lock line so I can aim it around and adjust height

congrats steve on getting the pics uploaded and tank. it look very nice, how big are the openings on top and the one pc eurobrace should be very strong.

spike the tank was made by Innovative Plastics. Its very clean and well built.I never had an acrylic tank so I am more used to more room on the top of the tank.I keep think the tank will fill up so close to the top that the fish will jump out.I will have to get some kind of magnet to clean the glass.Acrylic it also came with covers for the holes on top cover, should I use them?I am thinking I will get alot of slat creep on the top part of the tank will I have enough space to clean it.

i would try to get a bulkhead that will fit, and not risk cracking the plexiglass. IMO try not to run a pvc through the hole.

I know a 1 1/4'threaded adapter will fit in there.I got one with the tank. Its either 1" or 1 1/4" but the thought of putting a male adapter with an o-ring and having water run in it didn't pleas me to well.Plus it will be under pressure. The guy who built the tank is going to call me and explain what hole size is for what.I was going to use a hole saw I don't think it will crack but if you think it may crack I won't do it.I looked on the internet and most bulkheads 1/2 and 3/4 needed larger holes than what the guy made me.My old fitting from my hob fit in the hole its either 1" or 1 1/4" but the thought of putting a return pump on a line without glue might be a disaster waiting to happen.I will take more pics of the holes.
