If I want to get away I can .I don't need the old boat story( lie) for that.I am a bit slow I guess.I can get away if I want I just go out and come back when I feel like it.I don't have a cell phone(for this reason) so no one can get in touch with me.I dumped my pager for this reason aswell.I got tired of having to call people.Its much harder for people to track you down with technology.

Ok so now that the boat stories are behind us.You Americans and boat stories.I will be getting the wavebox sent to my cousins home in NYC.So it looks like I will be taking another trip down there.I was wondering what size wave could I get with this thing.I am thinking that I would have to lower my water level to get a bigger wave.Its pretty high right now so I would think that I would have to redirect some water from my return pump.I can maybe use some fittings and feed my little fishes reactors with my return line along with my UV unit.This will help me get 2 pumps out of my sump and lower the level a bit more.I will have less turnover but more wave height.I will have to see about this.

I know if I can get away with out working I think I can escape the wife to.She doesn't bust my chops.I make fun of her but all in all she is a good person.I always say she is a better person than me.She is however very busy at work.The renovations are taking longer than planned and she is VERY stressed over this.Her parents are not making this any easier they have been complaining about the time its taking to do the job.make a note not to hire friends in the end you will argue with them.Point being delays delays.I can't say much I try not to get involved to much.I did the plumbing and a few odds and ends but thats it.My wife is very picky so I didn't offer to paint or do other stuff thats not my trade.I would rather her be ****ed at someone else than me.I think I already have enough on my plate.I find my tank is doing fine.My heaters are working a lot because my garage doors aren't the best.I will have to do something about this.The tank looks great I do have a bit of algae(its long and stringy.I did take a tooth brush to some of the cyano spots last week.Maybe Monday or Sunday I will do the tooth brush thing again.Its not that bad since the skimmer is working I am getting a lot of nog pulled out.

I am thinking I would be able to go with a 1" wave maybe a bit more because of my overflow teeth and my return pump.The water level is pretty high.I don't care so much about wave height more the wave action.I think that does depend on the height.I don't know if tunze power heads do a better job of that.

I am not convinced that visible waves (at the surface) matter as much as random flow, but it is nice to see these wave devices working well and producing results, especially with all the problems with the Vortechs.

I am seriously considering building waveboxes onto my next tank.

I regret not building one into the tank.I looked at e bay and the same seller has several wave boxs and tunze pumps and controllers.I wonder how the hell do they get there hands on them and afford to sell them at discounts.I placed a bid for a single pump and controller.I will keep trying to buy from this seller if the price is good.If the bid goes to high I won't bother.It seems this guy keeps having the stuff in stock.

I am looking for that random flow.Because I have the 8 way I just want to toss it up a bit with the wave box.I know its not cheap but at least its not an energy hog.I have yet to take a look at my electric bill.I think my wife will have a fit if she sees a big increase.
