right corner.I tried to hide them as best as I could or at least make them neat.I am still waiting for the legs (light)so I am stuck using pvc pipe.Lights are 5" off the top of the tank
My wife doesn't want me to put plugs in the ceiling like I did with my old fixture so I ordered legs plus its easier to move the light when its on legs.I may cut the last 2" of the egg crate I will see.Its not a bad spot for a coral or two but that has to wait.I have been spending to much money. If I go to the pet shop its to hard to resist not buying something.I am waiting because there is one store that I bought my corals from that has pretty good deals. The corals cost me $35 each where everywhere else I looked it was $50-$70.The guy wants to place an order for about 70 k worth of corals and fish(for all the stores) but he is waiting so I will wait to see what he gets.He usually doesn't get many acros but if he does and they just get in I may buy one.I am mostly looking for LPS for now to start of with.I want a frogspawn, torch, galaxia, elegant to put in the middle.I wanted to get a clam but the angel fish will probably nip at it so I am not sure about getting one.Its a hit and miss with that.
I stopped bidding on the wavebox after $400 it wasn't that much of a deal when the price goes to high.I am bidding on a set of tunze pumps with a controller witch is a pretty good deal if I can get them at half the price.I also but a bid in on a vortech pump(not wireless)if I can get it cheap I will place it in my sump.I don't know about using it in the tank after what happened to your tank.I have become an e bay addict now!!
eBay will kill you! Actually, you can get decent corals on there sometimes. Just take it slow and getting livestock. I think you have learned that lesson right? I wouldn't put in any corals except maybe zoanthids for the first few months. You have got to let the reef mature, develop bacteria, pods, etc.
I put the 3 lps witch are pretty easy to keep.I found out the vortech are the wireless models.I will either get the vortechs(witch I am a little worried about) or the tunze if the price is right.I don't know about those vortech pumps after seeing what they did to your tank.I may save them for my sump.It all depends on the price.
Jonathon might know, but there may be a way to mount the vortech's in a manner that keeps them off the walls of your tank or sump. But after seeing the damage on Jonathon's tank, I can see why you would be skeptical.
Hey only a little while ago the tank was in trouble, now you have fish, LPS and are nearing a thread split Well done mate
Thanks now I keep spending money I don't have(thats me) I got a wavebox from E BAY.I am the lucky winner.I did save about $100 minus $20 for shipping so $80 it was still cheaper than anywhere else.I am also bidding on the tunze pump kit.If I get the price I want its half the price witch is a very good deal.I will have to wait and see.I am getting hooked on E BAY! thats all i needed another outlet to spend money. The tank is doing great.I am happy that things turned around. Finally now all I need is a job to pay for all this stuff.
yes they do! Unless you know of a better way to make(legal) money let me know.If you feel sorry for me please feel free to send me money.I will except U.S. currency.
