My 350 gallon Tang tank

This is my second big tank that I've had that has been full of tangs and my secret is pretty simple. Don't try to keep one or two tangs together. They'll likely fight. I think tangs are like cichlids. The more in a tank the better they get along. I know I can add a new fish now and it's just like nothing happened and even if there is a squabble it's over in no time. I also feed pretty heavy which I'm sure helps. As far as the carpet goes. So far so good. Nobody has disappeared yet and it's been 6 months or more.

Amazing tank. Tangs are my favorite. Kudos to you for doing what you want, how you want. Just goes to show there is more than one way to do things.

How long does a nori sheet last in there? 10 seconds? 5?

Absolutely agree!!!! I have 11 in my 360g and they all get along with no issues.

It's gone in under a minute. It's pretty intense lol

I used to have 11 tangs in my 300 with no issues. As stated above, everyone has a tiff here and there but it's dispersed quickly

The sohal chases the others all the time. But it's just short burst and it never slices or anything. It definetly rules the tank and let's everyone know it's boss.

I did have most of it in a 180 up until about 4-5 months ago when I switched it over to this. I just added the 150 a few weeks ago though.

Thanks! I'm looking forward to them growing out. Going to be something to see them all full sized. Hopefully they get along just as good then.
