And here iam back, its been couple years since my last tank, but this addiction is stronger than me
My last tank was a 57gal and I always wanted to go with something deeper, so new tank is 48" wide and its 36" deep , it was build by Anthony @ Nanoseacreations, he also build the sump for me

some of the main equipment :
Apex Controller
2x MP40 Quiet drives on the back wall of the tank
Skimz SM161
Water Blaster HY-7000 Return
ATI 8x54w T-5

Here are some pics of the progress so far:

.....after this I had them soaking in saltwater for 3 or 4 weeks in my garage

Awesome dimensions! What's the total volume? Those are the exact dimensions I'd go for on a tank, I hate tall tanks for not being able to reach anything, and that deep tank is gonna do wonders for aquascaping. Good luck

Got the tank on the stand and started the plumbing

I started the sump yesterday, Iam having CREAZY amounts of micro bubbles coming from my Skimz SM161, tried to adjust it last night , but it was late, hopefully its breakin in, but I never had those coming out of the skimmer, maybe someone can shine some light on this issue?

48x36x20 is around 135gal, sumo is another 30-35gal

I like how you are filling the fuge area with your return pump. Wish I would have thought of that for my sump. Much cleaner look and less pipe.

Got the GFO and Carbon Reactor hooked up, I have them on a separate pump, I wasn't sure if my return pump would be ok , but now I know it a little bit to strong :)

And Iam still waiting for my ATO to be made, for now I turn ON my RO daily to fill the evaporation need

Your whole setup is so well planned out and looks amazing. It's giving me a lot of great ideas for my next tank.

What are your plans for dosing, will you have a custom tank made for that?

Plan was of getting a custom one made, but then I picked up 2 space saving jugs from BRS and both fit behind the sump and they gold a little over a gallon each, I started dosing CA & ALK with BRS dosers, and MG I will add manually every 1-2 weeks

Great work.

Thank You!

Little update, I found a great deal on a ATI T5/LED Powermodule, so I had to buy it....
only down side that the power supply is HUGE, and the power wire that comes out on the side is super ugly....
