Update
Started giving my tangs some seaweed and it was a big pain to get the suction clip out of the water and in again with seaweed on it so from scrap acrylic I made a " bracket" that allows me give replace the seaweed without getting my hands wet

It's ok. I changed the halides to 3x400 and added 2 extra VHOs. Plenty of light now. How's your new t5 fixture working out?

I think it has way to much PAR, most of my SPS bleached, LPS are not doing to goo either... lowered the % on the light and waiting....

Should be good. Maybe give it time to adjust to the new light. What test kit do you use for magnesium?

Love the set up. My tank is 48/48/24 so very similar footprint as yours. Very clean set up you have there, especially the suspended ato. Did you fabricate the acrylic yourself?

had a local guy fabricate the ATO box for me, I fill it once a week, It keeps 7gal of RO water
